I was responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of SPRINGBOARD, the Lyric’s flagship training programme for future artists and actors. I plan and logistically organise the trainees on the programme who receive hundreds of engagement opportunities during their attachment to the theatre on the programme led by leading industry practitioners. In addition to the SPRINGBOARD programme I produced the Evolution Festival and The Bill Cashmore Award which enables young and emerging writers to transform a fledgling idea from page to the professional stage and headline the Evolution Festival.
Working directly with the Director of Participation and managing on all projects going out to schools within the borough of Islington. My key responsibilities were to recruit; negotiate and draft contracts and line-manage all the creative freelancers who worked on my projects. I created, managed and oversaw the budget for all my projects, project by project and year long budgets. Alongside the above, I set year long targets in accordance with Almeida’s funding (both public and private); recorded all data capture and evaluation to use for reports for future and potential funders in collaboration with our development team.

The group collaborated with directors El Henderson and Jason York with dramaturg and writer Simon Pittman to external guests, prison staff and other residents.
